The UV Disinfection System Acceptance Process for the Birecik Wastewater Treatment Plant Was Successfully Completed

Within this scope, the acceptance process of the Open Channel UV Disinfection System installed for the Birecik Wastewater Treatment Plant Project was successfully completed.

The Open Channel UV Disinfection System, featuring 80 UV lamps with a power rating of 320 watts, received acceptance approval following the relevant technical evaluations.

Compliance with Technical Specifications and Reliable PerformanceDuring the acceptance process, the system’s compliance with the project requirements and technical specifications was evaluated in detail through technical inspections conducted by İller Bankası A.Ş. The inspections confirmed that the UV disinfection system met the design criteria and operated successfully.Providing effective disinfection without the use of chemicals, the Open Channel UV Disinfection System contributes to the safe discharge of treated wastewater into the receiving environment while supporting a sustainable and environmentally friendly operating approach.
